शिवपुराण-प्रशंसा (Praise of the Śiva Purāṇa) / Śivapurāṇa Māhātmya

ससप्तसंहितं दिव्यं पुराणं शिवसंज्ञकम् । वरीवर्ति ब्रह्मतुल्यं सर्वोपरि गतिप्रदम्

sasaptasaṃhitaṃ divyaṃ purāṇaṃ śivasaṃjñakam | varīvarti brahmatulyaṃ sarvopari gatipradam

سات سنہتاؤں پر مشتمل یہ الٰہی پوران ‘شیو پوران’ کے نام سے معروف ہے؛ یہ برہمن کے مانند درخشاں ہے، سب سے برتر رہ کر اعلیٰ ترین گتی (موکش) عطا کرتا ہے۔
