Praise of Water-Gift and the Construction of Wells and Tanks
तत्र पुत्रा भवंत्येते पादपा नात्र संशयः । परं लोकं गतस्सोऽपि लोकानाप्नोति चाक्षयान्
tatra putrā bhavaṃtyete pādapā nātra saṃśayaḥ | paraṃ lokaṃ gatasso'pi lokānāpnoti cākṣayān
وہاں یہی درخت اس کے بیٹے بن جاتے ہیں—اس میں کوئی شک نہیں۔ اور وہ پرلوک کو جا کر بھی اَکشَی (لازوال) لوکوں کو پاتا ہے۔

Significance: Promises akṣaya-loka (imperishable realms) as fruit of compassionate dharma; aligns merit with a Śaiva soteriology where grace responds to selfless acts.
Shakti Form: Pārvatī

It praises dharmic merit: nurturing life (symbolized by planting/protecting trees) becomes a lasting spiritual “lineage,” yielding enduring punya that supports the soul’s ascent to higher, imperishable realms under Shiva’s grace.
In Shaiva practice, outer worship of Saguna Shiva (Linga-puja) is strengthened by compassionate, sustaining acts in the world; such dharma expresses devotion and aligns the devotee with Shiva as Pati, the Lord who grants higher lokas and liberation.
Perform Shiva-oriented punya alongside worship—such as planting and protecting trees as a vrata/charity, offering the merit to Shiva, and supporting it with japa of the Panchakshara mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya).
