Viṣṇoḥ Sahasranāma-stotreṇa Śiva-prasādaḥ
Vishnu’s Thousand-Name Hymn and Shiva’s Grace
ऐहिकीं सिद्धिमाप्नोति निखिलां सर्वकामिकाम् । अन्ते सायुज्यमुक्तिं वै प्राप्नोत्यत्र न संशयः
aihikīṃ siddhimāpnoti nikhilāṃ sarvakāmikām | ante sāyujyamuktiṃ vai prāpnotyatra na saṃśayaḥ
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Significance: Summarizes the bhoga–mokṣa trajectory: worldly siddhi first, culminating in sāyujya with Śiva; motivates sustained practice beyond mere problem-solving.
Role: liberating
It teaches the Shaiva principle that sincere devotion to Śiva yields both dharmic worldly fulfillment (aihikī siddhi) and the highest end—liberation as union with Śiva (sāyujya-mukti).
In the Koṭirudrasaṃhitā (Jyotirliṅga-focused), the promise of worldly success and final liberation is tied to Saguna worship—approaching Śiva through Liṅga-devotion that purifies the devotee and culminates in Śiva’s grace.
The takeaway is steady Śiva-upāsanā—especially Jyotirliṅga/Liṅga worship with mantra-japa (e.g., Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), offered with devotion for purification and liberation.
