Suta Goswami (narrating the Kailasa Samhita teachings to the sages, conveying Shiva’s yogic-ritual instruction)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Vāmadeva
Role: teaching
It teaches internalized Shiva-upasana: the devotee installs Shiva’s Panchabrahma aspects within the body through dhyāna, turning the body-mind into a purified temple oriented toward liberation (moksha) under Pati (Shiva).
Just as the Linga is worshipped externally as Saguna Shiva, this verse prescribes the inner Linga-worship (antar-yāga) by visualizing Shiva’s aspects—Vāmadeva and Sadyojāta—mapped onto bodily locations, harmonizing outer ritual with inner realization.
A structured dhyāna practice: mentally place Vāmadeva in specific lower-body regions and contemplate Sadyojāta’s eight kalās in the eyes in sequence—often done alongside mantra-japa (e.g., Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and steady breath-awareness.
