Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Role: teaching
It emphasizes that true instruction must point seekers toward the Supreme Self (Shiva as Pati) and clearly teach the authentic path for those who take refuge at His feet—faithfully and without distortion.
Refuge at Shiva’s feet is commonly practiced through Saguna upasana—Linga worship, mantra, and devotion—while the teaching clarifies that the ultimate reality reached through such worship is the Paramatman.
A disciplined practice of śraddhā-filled devotion and contemplation—seeking what is truly to be sought (Shiva-realization), supported by regular Shiva worship and sincere surrender (śaraṇāgati).
