Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: liberating
It points to the Shaiva Siddhanta view that Shiva’s governance of the cosmos is intelligible through a fivefold causal framework, with anugraha (grace) as the decisive factor for liberation.
By grounding Shiva’s actions in a recognized doctrine, it supports Linga/Saguna worship as a means to align with Shiva’s grace—devotion and ritual become channels through which anugraha is received.
The practical takeaway is to seek anugraha through steady Shiva-upasana—japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), Linga-puja, and contemplative remembrance of Shiva as Pati, the bestower of grace.
