The Determination of Śiva as the Meaning of Praṇava

न सम्प्रसूयते यो वै कुतश्चन कदाचन । यस्मिन्न भासते विद्युन्न न सूर्यो न चन्द्रमाः

na samprasūyate yo vai kutaścana kadācana | yasminna bhāsate vidyunna na sūryo na candramāḥ

جو کبھی بھی، کہیں سے بھی پیدا نہیں ہوتا؛ جس کے اندر نہ بجلی چمکتی ہے، نہ سورج، نہ چاند—وہی پرمیشور شِو ہے، تمام مخلوقی روشنیوں اور ہر طرح کے بننے سے ماورا۔
