Flow forth, then; settle round the vessel: purified by the priests, flow unto strength. As (men) groom a vigorous horse, so do they lead thee, the prize-bestower, with reins, unto the sacred grass.

Exact mapping requires the specific stotra’s uha arrangement.", "singer_assignments": "Prastotṛ cues the ‘flow forth’ entry; Udgātṛ carries the main narrative; Pratihartṛ punctuates transitions; nidhana is collectively sealed." }

{ "gloss_summary": "Soma is urged to flow, settle around the vessel, and—purified by priests—flow to strength; as a horse is groomed, so Soma is led with reins to the barhis.", "ritual_interpretation": "kośa = Soma receptacle; barhis = strewn grass-seat for gods; raśanābhiḥ = straps/cords or guiding means used in handling and directing Soma through apparatus.", "theological_insight": "Ritual correctness is a form of cosmic training: Soma’s power becomes auspicious when guided to the gods’ seat through prescribed means.", "etymology_highlights": "raśanā: rein/strap; marjayantaḥ: ‘polishing/grooming’—refining to brilliance and fitness." }
