यदद्य कच्च वृत्रहन्नुदगा अभि सूर्य सर्वं तदिन्द्र ते वशे
Whatsoever, Vṛtrahan, thou hast this day ascended unto, even unto the Sun, all that, Indra, is in thy control.

य आनयत्परावतः सुनीती तुर्वशं यदुम् इन्द्रः स नो युवा सखा
He who, by auspicious guidance, brought Turvaśa and Yadu from far away—let that Indra be our youthful friend.

Indra, let not the hero harm us from any quarter; restrain him: allied with thee may we win that boon.

अपिबत्कद्रुवः सुतमिन्द्रः सहस्रबाह्वे तत्राददिष्ट पौंस्यम्
Indra drank the expressed Soma; there, in the might of the thousand-armed, he displayed manly vigour.

वयमिन्द्र त्वायवो ऽभि प्र नोनुमो वृषन् विद्धी त्वा3स्य नो वसो
We, Indra, longing for thee, praise thee aloud; vigorous one, take cognizance of this (our worship), O opulent lord.

आ घा ये अग्निमिन्धते स्तृणन्ति बर्हिरानुषक् येषामिन्द्रो युवा सखा
They indeed who kindle Agni, and who spread the sacred grass in due order—of them Indra is the youthful friend.

भिन्धि विश्वा अप द्विषः परि बाधो जही मृधः वसु स्पार्हं तदा भर
Break all the enemies; destroy the besetting oppressions; slay the assaults: then bring hither the desirable wealth.
