नियुज्यमानास्तु गजाः सुहस्ताः सकेसराश्चोत्पलपत्रहस्ताः।बभूवदेवी च कृता सुहस्तालक्ष्मी स्तथा पद्मिनि पद्महस्ता।।5.7.14।।
niyujyamānās tu gajāḥ su-hastāḥ sa-kesarāś cotpala-patra-hastāḥ | babhūva devī ca kṛtā su-hastā lakṣmīs tathā padminī padma-hastā ||
وہاں خوش وضع سونڈ والے ہاتھی آراستہ کیے گئے تھے، جو نیل کنول کے پتّوں اور ریشوں سمیت کنول تھامے ہوئے تھے۔ اور دیوی لکشمی بھی بنائی گئی تھی—خوش دست، کنول سی لطیف—کنولوں کے تالاب میں، اپنے ہاتھ میں کنول لیے ہوئے۔
He saw on it lotus ponds, artificial elephants with shapely trunks, offering to Laxmi who herself was a lotus, holding in her beautiful hands blue lotuses shining with filaments.
