मधुवनप्रवेशः — The Vanaras Enter Madhuvana
Honey-Grove Episode
ततस्ते वानरा हृष्टा दृष्टवा मधुवनं महत्।कुमारमभ्ययाचन्त मधूनि मधुपिङ्गलाः।।।।
tatas te vānarā hṛṣṭā dṛṣṭvā madhuvanaṁ mahat | kumāram abhyayācanta madhūni madhupiṅgalāḥ ||
پھر وہ شہد رنگ وانر، عظیم مدھوون کو دیکھ کر خوشی سے جھوم اٹھے اور نوجوان شہزادے کے پاس جا کر شہد پینے کی اجازت مانگنے لگے۔
The honeycoloured monkeys felt happy on seeing the Madhuvanam and sought Angada's permission to drink honey.
Dharma is expressed as maryādā (propriety): even in joy, they seek authorization from the rightful leader before enjoying what belongs to the king’s domain.
Seeing Madhuvana, the Vānaras become eager to drink honey and formally request Aṅgada’s consent.
Respect for authority and social order—desire is restrained by etiquette and truthful, open request rather than taking by force.
