तं मत्तमिव मातङ्गं बद्धं कपिवरोत्तमम्।राक्षसा राक्षसेन्द्राय रावणाय न्यवेदयन्।।।।
taṃ mattam iva mātaṅgaṃ baddhaṃ kapi-varottamam |
rākṣasā rākṣasendrāya rāvaṇāya nyavedayan ||
رکشسوں نے بندھے ہوئے، مگر مست ہاتھی کی طرح بے پناہ زور رکھنے والے بندرِ برتر کو، رکشسوں کے سردار راون کے حضور پیش کیا۔
