Ravana Deploys Five Generals; Hanuman Destroys the Commanders and the Remaining Host
ते स्वामिवचनं सर्वे प्रतिगृह्य महौजसः।।5.46.15।।समुत्पेतुर्महावेगा हुताशसमतेजसः।रथैर्मत्तैश्च मातङ्गैर्वाजिभिश्च महाजवैः।।5.46.16।।शस्त्रैश्च विविधैस्तीक्ष्णैस्सर्वैश्चोपचिता बलैः।
te svāmivacanaṃ sarve pratigṛhya mahaujasaḥ || (5.46.15)
samutpetur mahāvegā hutāśasamatejasaḥ |
rathair mattaiś ca mātaṅgair vājibhiś ca mahājavaiḥ || (5.46.16)
śastraiś ca vividhais tīkṣṇaiḥ sarvaiś copacitā balaiḥ |
یہ روایتِ جنوبی میں آیتوں کی تقسیم و تکرار کا بیان ہے: وہی لشکر کشی کا منظر جاری ہے۔ سب کے سب زورآور جنگجو اپنے آقا کے حکم کو قبول کر کے، یَجْن کی آگ کی مانند روشن، تیزی سے آگے بڑھے؛ رتھوں، مست ہاتھیوں، نہایت تیز گھوڑوں اور خوف انگیز، تیز دھار ہتھیاروں کے ساتھ، پوری طرح مجتمع لشکر سمیت۔
