The Token of Recognition (Chūḍāmaṇi) and the Crow Episode Recalled
मणिवरमुपगृह्य तं महार्हं जनकनृपात्मजया धृतं प्रभावात्।गिरिरिव पवनावधूतमुक्तः सुखितमनाः प्रतिसङ्क्रमं प्रपेदे।।5.38.73।।
maṇi-varam upagṛhya taṃ mahārhaṃ janaka-nṛpātmajayā dhṛtaṃ prabhāvāt |
girir iva pavanāvadhūta-muktaḥ sukhita-manāḥ pratisaṅkramaṃ prapede ||5.38.73||
جنک راج کی دختر کے پہنے ہوئے اس نہایت قیمتی، نورانی مَنی کو قبول کر کے ہنومان خوش دل ہو کر روانگی کے لیے بڑھا؛ گویا ہوا کے جھونکوں سے جھنجھوڑا گیا پہاڑ اپنی جگہ سے چھوٹ کر سرک پڑے۔
