Sita Tests the Messenger; Hanuman Offers Reassurance
स्थानक्रोधः प्रहर्ता च श्रेष्ठो लोके महारथः।बाहुच्छायामवष्टब्धो यस्य लोको महात्मनः।।।।
sthānakrodhaḥ prahartā ca śreṣṭho loke mahārathaḥ ।
bāhucchāyām avaṣṭabdho yasya loko mahātmanaḥ ॥
اس کا غضب وہیں اترتا ہے جہاں مناسب ہو، اور وہ مجرم کو سزا دیتا ہے۔ وہ دنیا میں سب سے برتر مہارَتھی ہے؛ اس مہاتما کے بازوؤں کے سائے میں سارا جہان پناہ پاتا ہے۔
"He shows anger to one who deserves it, he is the foremost charioteer of the world and he is a great self under the shadow of whose shoulders the whole world takes refuge.
Just governance: anger and punishment are ethical only when directed appropriately—protecting the innocent and restraining wrongdoing.
Hanumān portrays Rāma as a protector-king whose disciplined force will secure Sītā and restore order.
Rāma’s measured justice—strength governed by restraint and responsibility.
