Hanuman Enters Lanka and Encounters Laṅkā-devatā
द्रक्ष्यामि नगरीं लङ्कां साट्टप्राकारतोरणाम्।निर्विशङ्कमिमंलोकं पश्यन्त्यास्तवसांप्रतम्।इत्यर्थमिह संप्राप्तः परं कौतूहलं हि मे।।।।
drakṣyāmi nagarīṃ laṅkāṃ sāṭṭa-prākāra-toraṇām | nirviśaṅkam imaṃ lokaṃ paśyantyās tava sāṃpratam | ity-artham iha saṃprāptaḥ paraṃ kautūhalaṃ hi me ||
میں ابھی اسی لیے آیا ہوں کہ تم بےخوف دیکھتی رہو اور میں لَنکا کی نگری—اس کے بازاروں، فصیلوں اور دروازوں سمیت—اپنی آنکھوں سے دیکھوں۔ اسی غرض سے یہاں پہنچا ہوں؛ بےشک میرا اشتیاق بہت عظیم ہے۔
