उन्मत्तेव प्रमत्तेव भ्रान्तचित्तेव शोचती।उपावृत्ता किशोरीव विवेष्टन्ती महीतले।।।।
unmatteva pramatt eva bhrāntacitteva śocatī | upāvṛttā kiśorīva viveṣṭantī mahītale ||
وہ روتی تھی گویا دیوانی ہو، گویا بےخود ہو، گویا اس کا دل بھٹک گیا ہو؛ وہ نوخیز دوشیزہ زمین پر جوان گھوڑی کی طرح لوٹتی اور تڑپتی رہی۔
