The Ogresses’ Threats to Sita and Her Vow of Fidelity
अवलीनः स निर्वाक्यो हनूमान् शिंशुपाद्रुमे।।5.24.14।।यसीतां सन्तर्जयन्तीस्ता राक्षसीरशृणोत् कपिः।
avalīnaḥ sa nirvākyo hanūmān śiṃśupādrume ॥5.24.14॥
yaḥ sītāṃ santarjayantīs tā rākṣasīr aśṛṇot kapiḥ ।
شِمشُپا کے درخت میں چھپا ہوا، خاموش و بے کلام ہنومان—وہ کپِی—سنتا رہا کہ راکشسیاں سیتا کو دھمکا رہی ہیں۔
Hanuman who kept himself concealed on the simsupa tree speechlessly listened to the ogresses threatening Sita.
