वर्णनम् / Sītā’s Distress and Rāvaṇa’s Attempt at Coercive Allurement
मलमण्डनचित्राङ्गीं मण्डनार्हाममण्डिताम्।मृणाली पङ्कदिग्धेव विभाति न विभाति च।।।।
malamaṇḍanacitrāṅgīṃ maṇḍanārhām amaṇḍitām |
mṛṇālī paṅkadigdhā iva vibhāti na vibhāti ca ||
اس کے اعضا گویا گرد و غبار ہی سے نقش و نگار تھے؛ زیور کی سزاوار ہو کر بھی بے زیور تھی—کیچڑ سے لتھڑی ہوئی کنول کی ڈنڈی کی مانند، جو چمکتی بھی ہے اور چمکتی نہیں بھی۔
