अष्टादशः सर्गः (Sarga 18): रावणस्य प्रमदावनप्रवेशः

स तथाप्युग्रतेजाः सन्निर्धूतस्तस्य तेजसा।पत्रगुह्यान्तरे सक्तो हनुमान् संवृतोऽभवत्।।5.18.31।।
sa tathāpy ugratejāḥ san nirdhūtas tasya tejasā |
patraguhyāntare sakto hanumān saṃvṛto 'bhavat ||5.18.31||
پھر بھی ہنومان—شدید قوتِ روح والا—اس (راون) کے جلال کی تیزی سے چونک اٹھا، اور پتّوں کی پوشیدہ دراڑوں کے اندر دبک کر ڈھکا چھپا رہا۔
