Sita Seen in the Ashoka Grove
पीतं कनकपट्टाभं स्रस्तं तद्वसनं शुभम्।उत्तरीयं नगासक्तं तदा दृष्टं प्लवङ्गमैः।।।।
pītaṃ kanakapaṭṭābhaṃ srastaṃ tad vasanaṃ śubham |
uttarīyaṃ nagāsaktaṃ tadā dṛṣṭaṃ plavaṅgamaiḥ ||
وہ مبارک اوڑھنی—زرد، سونے جیسے چمکتے کپڑے کی مانند—ڈھلک کر سرک گئی تھی؛ اور جب وہ درخت میں اٹک گئی تو بندروں نے اسے وہیں دیکھا۔
"The shining yellow upper garment like a golden cloth was torn. Flung down, it stuck to a tree which the monkeys noticed.
