रावणस्योरुवेगेन भुजाभ्यां पीडितेन च।।।।तया मन्ये विशालाक्ष्या त्यक्तं जीवितमार्यया।
rāvaṇasyoru-vegena bhujābhyāṃ pīḍitena ca | tayā manye viśālākṣyā tyaktaṃ jīvitam āryayā ||
میرا گمان ہے کہ وہ آریہ، وسیع چشم ناری—راون کی سخت تیزی سے جھنجھوڑ دی گئی اور اس کے بازوؤں کے دباؤ میں آ کر—اپنی جان ہی ترک کر بیٹھی۔
"He thinks, on account of the high speed during the flight of Ravana under thepressure of his arms, the noble, large-eyed lady might have given up her life.
The verse underscores the moral horror of adharma (violent abduction) and the dharmic sensitivity to another’s suffering—Hanumān’s duty compels him to reckon with the gravest outcomes.
Unable to find Sītā, Hanumān fears that the brutality of the abduction itself may have caused her death.
