अङ्गदसंवादः / Sampati and Angada: Genealogy, Jatayu, and the Search Vow
सूर्यांशुदग्धपक्षत्वान्न शक्नोम्युपसर्पितुम्।।।।इच्छेयं पर्वतादस्मादवतर्तु मरिन्दमाः।
sūryāṃśu-dagdha-pakṣatvān na śaknomy upasarpitum | iccheyaṃ parvatād asmād avatartuṃ marindamāḥ ||
اے دشمنوں کو زیر کرنے والو! سورج کی کرنوں سے میرے پر جھلس گئے ہیں، اس لیے میں آگے بڑھ نہیں سکتا۔ میں چاہتا ہوں کہ اس پہاڑ سے اتر جاؤں۔
'O tamers of foes! as my wings are burnt down by the Sun's rays it is not possible for me to move forward. I wish you help me to get down from this mountain'.
Recognizing one’s limitation and seeking rightful help is dharmic; it prevents harm and supports cooperative action.
Sampāti explains his incapacity (burnt wings) and requests assistance to come down from the mountain.
