अमोघास्सूर्यसङ्काशा ममैते निशिताश्शराः4.5.27।।तस्मिन्वालिनि दुर्वृत्ते निपतिष्यन्ति वेगिताः।कङ्कपत्रप्रतिच्छन्ना महेन्द्राशनिसन्निभाः4.5.28।।तीक्ष्णाग्रा ऋजुपर्वाणस्सरोषा भुजगा इव।
amoghāḥ sūryasaṅkāśā mamaite niśitāḥ śarāḥ | tasmin vālini durvṛtte nipatiṣyanti vegitāḥ ||4.5.27||
kaṅkapatrapraticchannā mahendrāśanisannibhāḥ | tīkṣṇāgrā ṛjuparvāṇaḥ saroṣā bhujagā iva ||4.5.28||
میرے یہ تیز دھار تیر بے خطا ہیں، سورج کی مانند درخشاں؛ وہ تیزی سے اُس بدکردار والی پر جا گریں گے۔ کَنک کے پروں سے آراستہ، مہندر کے وجرا کی مانند، نوک دار اور سیدھی گرہوں والے—گویا غضبناک سانپ ہیں۔
'These arrows covered with kanka feathers, sharp and straight at the tip, comparable to great Indra's thunderbolt are (burning bright) like the sun. Looking like angry serpents, they will unfailingly strike at the miscreant Vali soon.
