Rama–Sugriva Alliance and Fire-Rite of Friendship
लक्ष्मणायाथ संहृष्टो हनूमान् प्लवगर्षभः4.5.20।।शाखां चन्दनवृक्षस्य ददौ परमपुष्पिताम्।
lakṣmaṇāyātha saṅhṛṣṭo hanūmān plavagarṣabhaḥ | śākhāṃ candanavṛkṣasya dadau paramapuṣpitām ||4.5.20||
پھر دل سے خوش ہو کر، بندروں میں سرفہرست ہنومان نے چندن کے درخت کی نہایت شگفتہ شاخ لکشمن کو پیش کی۔
Then Hanuman, the bull among monkeys, felt very happy, cut the branch of a sandalwood tree full of flowers and gave it to Lakshmana.
