एकोनपञ्चाशः सर्गः (Sarga 49)
Aṅgada Re-energizes the Southern Search Party
अवरुह्य ततो भूमिं श्रान्ता विगतचेतसः।स्थित्वा मुहूर्तं तत्राथ वृक्षमूलमुपाश्रिताः।।।।
avaruhya tato bhūmiṃ śrāntā vigatacetasaḥ | sthitvā muhūrtaṃ tatrātha vṛkṣamūlam upāśritāḥ ||
پھر وہ زمین پر اترے؛ تھکن سے چور اور دل شکستہ تھے۔ وہاں ایک گھڑی ٹھہر کر، پھر درخت کی جڑ کے سائے میں پناہ لی۔
Descending to the foothills, the exhausted monkeys became quiet. Fatigued and disheartened, they assembled under a tree, stood for a moment and then lay down.
Dharma includes wise self-management: pausing to recover strength supports the larger righteous duty rather than abandoning it.
After descending from the mountain, the troop halts briefly and rests under a tree.
