सुग्रीवस्य शतवलि-प्रेषणम्

Sugriva’s Commission to Satavali for the Northern Search

मुक्ता वैढूर्यचित्राणि भूषणानि तथैव च।स्त्रीणां चाप्यनुरूपाणि पुरुषाणां तथैव च।।4.43.47।।सर्वर्तुसुख सेव्यानि फलन्त्यन्ये नगोत्तमाः।महार्हाणि विचित्राणि हैमान्यन्ये नगोत्तमाः।।4.43.48।।

muktā vaiḍūryacitrāṇi bhūṣaṇāni tathaiva ca | strīṇāṃ cāpy anurūpāṇi puruṣāṇāṃ tathaiva ca | sarvartusukha sevyāni phalanty anye nagottamāḥ | mahārhāṇi vicitrāṇi haimāny anye nagottamāḥ॥

اور بعض عالی شان درخت زیورات پھلاتے ہیں—موتیوں اور ویدوریہ سے جڑے ہوئے—جو عورتوں اور مردوں دونوں کے شایانِ شان ہیں، ہر موسم میں خوشگوار اور قابلِ استعمال۔ اور کچھ اور بہترین درخت سونے کے عجیب و غریب، نہایت قیمتی زیورات بھی پیدا کرتے ہیں۔

'There the trees are filled with flowers and fruits in all seasons. Birds rest on them. By their excellent fragrance, taste and smooth feel the fruits and flowers satisfy the desires of all. Some other excellent trees provide barks of various kinds which are used for cloth.
