सुग्रीवस्य शतवलि-प्रेषणम्
Sugriva’s Commission to Satavali for the Northern Search
तं तु देशमतिक्रम्य शैलोदा नाम निम्नगा।उभयोस्तीरयोस्तस्याः कीचका नाम वेणवः।।।।ते नयन्ति परं तीरं सिद्धान्प्रत्यानयन्ति च।
taṃ tu deśam atikramya śailodā nāma nimnagā |
ubhayos tīrayoḥ tasyāḥ kīcakā nāma veṇavaḥ ||
te nayanti paraṃ tīraṃ siddhān pratyānayanti ca |
اس خطّے سے آگے بڑھو تو شَیلودا نامی پہاڑی ندی آتی ہے۔ اس کے دونوں کناروں پر کیچک کہلانے والے بانسوں کے جھنڈ ہیں؛ وہ سدھّوں کو پار کے کنارے پہنچاتے اور پھر واپس بھی لے آتے ہیں۔
