Commissioning the Southern Search for Sītā
तत्र नेत्रमनःकान्तः कुञ्जरो नाम पर्वतः।।।।अगस्त्यभवनं यत्र निर्मितं विश्वकर्मणा।
tatra netra-manaḥkāntaḥ kuñjaro nāma parvataḥ || 4.41.35 ||
agastya-bhavanaṃ yatra nirmitaṃ viśvakarmaṇā |
وہاں کنجر نام کا پہاڑ ہے جو آنکھ اور دل دونوں کو بھاتا ہے؛ اور وہیں اگستیہ منی کا آشرم ہے، جسے وشوکرما نے تعمیر کیا ہے۔
'There you will find a mountain called Kunjara pleasing to the eye and pleasing to the heart. That is the hermitage of Agastya built by Visvakarma.
Dharma honors the r̥ṣi tradition: sacred dwellings of sages are landmarks of moral order, reminding travelers that spiritual authority supports righteous action.
Sugrīva points out Kuñjara mountain and identifies Agastya’s famed residence as a notable station on the route.
