पूर्वदिशि सीतामार्गण-नियोगः
Deployment to the Eastern Quarter for the Search of Sita
तत्रपूर्वं पदं कृत्वा पुरा विष्णुस्त्रिविक्रमे।।4.40.57।।द्वितीयं शिखरे मेरोश्चकार पुरुषोत्तमः।
tatra pūrvaṃ padaṃ kṛtvā purā viṣṇus trivikrame | dvitīyaṃ śikhare meroś cakāra puruṣottamaḥ ||
قدیم زمانے میں جب وِشنو—پُرشوتم—نے تری وِکرم (تین قدم) کا لیلا کیا، تو اس نے پہلا قدم وہیں رکھا اور دوسرا قدم مِرو کے شِکھر پر رکھا۔
