यदयं न्यायदृष्टार्थस्सामदानक्षमापरः।गतो धर्मजितां भूमिं नैनं शोचितुमर्हसि।।

Transliteration

yad ayaṃ nyāya-dṛṣṭārthaḥ sāma-dāna-kṣamā-paraḥ | gato dharma-jitāṃ bhūmiṃ nainaṃ śocitum arhasi ||

Translation

جب یہ ویر—جو نیائے کو صاف دیکھنے والا اور سام، دان اور کشما میں راسخ تھا—دھرم سے جیتنے والوں کی حاصل کردہ بھومی کو چلا گیا، تو تمہیں اس پر سوگ نہیں کرنا چاہیے۔
