Tara’s Counsel to Vali on Sugriva’s Roar and Rama’s Alliance
तदा हि तारा हितमेव वाक्यंतं वालिनं पथ्यमिदं बभाषे।न रोचते तद्वचनं हि तस्यकालाभिपन्नस्य विनाशकाले।।
tadā hi tārā hitam eva vākyaṃ
taṃ vālinaṃ pathyam idaṃ babhāṣe |
na rocate tad-vacanaṃ hi tasya
kālābhipannasya vināśa-kāle ||
تب تارا نے والی سے یہی بات کہی—بھلائی اور مصلحت والی، نہایت پَتھّیہ۔ مگر جب اس کی ہلاکت کی گھڑی آ پہنچی اور زمانۂ ناموافق نے اسے آ لیا، تو وہ نصیحت اسے پسند نہ آئی۔
Even though Tara gave good counsel to Vali at the hour of destruction, the advice did not find favour with him as he was under the influence of unfavourable time (seized by death).ityārṣē śrīmadrāmāyaṇē vālmīkīya ādikāvyē kiṣkindhākāṇḍē pañcadaśassargaḥ৷৷Thus ends the fifteenth sarga of Kishkindakanda of the holy Ramayana, the first epic composed by sage Valmiki.
