Tara’s Counsel to Vali on Sugriva’s Roar and Rama’s Alliance
पूर्वमापतितः क्रोधात्स त्वामाह्वयते युधि।निष्पत्य च निरस्तस्ते हन्यमानो दिशो गतः।।
pūrvam āpatitaḥ krodhāt sa tvām āhvayate yudhi |
niṣpatya ca nirastas te hanyamāno diśo gataḥ || 4.15.10 ||
پہلے وہ غصّے میں لپک کر آیا اور میدانِ جنگ میں تجھے للکارا؛ پھر جب وہ جھپٹ کر نکلا تو تُو نے اسے پسپا کر دیا، اور مار کھاتا ہوا وہ ہر سمت بھاگ گیا۔
'Earlier, he (Sugriva) came and challenged you to a duel. You struck him in anger, and defeated, he fled, running in all directions. Now his challenge rouses my suspicion.
