विश्वामित्रस्य यज्ञरक्षा-याचना

Visvamitra Requests Rama for Yajna-Protection

न च मे क्रोधमुत्स्रष्टुं बुद्धिर्भवति पार्थिव।।।।तथा भूता हि सा चर्या न शापस्तत्र मुच्यते।

na ca me krodham utsraṣṭuṃ buddhir bhavati pārthiva | tathā bhūtā hi sā caryā na śāpas tatra mucyate ||

اے پارتھِو (اے بادشاہ)، میری عقل مجھے یہ اجازت نہیں دیتی کہ میں اپنا غضب چھوڑ دوں؛ کیونکہ اس ورت کی ریاضت ایسی ہی ہے—اس وقت وہاں کوئی شاپ (لعنت) جاری نہیں کی جاتی۔
