द्वादशः सर्गः — Aśvamedha-saṅkalpa
Daśaratha resolves on the Horse Sacrifice
तथेति च स राजानमुवाच च सुसत्कृत:।सम्भारा सम्भ्रियन्तां ते तुरगश्च विमुच्यताम्।।।।
tatheti ca sa rājānam uvāca ca susatkṛtaḥ | sambhārā sambhriyantāṃ te turagaś ca vimucyatām ||
یوں خوب تعظیم پانے کے بعد اُس برہمن نے راجا سے کہا: “تتھا استو—ایسا ہی ہو۔ تمہارے لیے جو سامان درکار ہے وہ جمع کیا جائے، اور یَجْن کا اَشْو (قربانی کا گھوڑا) چھوڑ دیا جائے۔”
The well-honoured brahmin agreed, saying, "Be it so, let the requisite materials be procured and the sacificial horse, released".
