Kaikeyī’s Protest
भूमौ शेषे किमर्थं त्वं मयि कल्याणचेतसि।।।।भूतोपहतचित्तेव मम चित्तप्रमाथिनी।
bhūmau śeṣe kimarthaṃ tvaṃ mayi kalyāṇacetasi | bhūtopahatacitteva mama cittapramāthinī ||
اے نیک نیت! جب میرا دل تیرے لیے خیرخواہ ہے تو تُو زمین پر کیوں پڑی ہے؟ گویا بھوتوں نے تیرے چِت کو گھیر لیا ہو، تو میرے دل کو بے چین اور مضطرب کرتی ہے۔
While I am here favourably disposed towards you, why are you lying down on the floor like one possessed by an evil spirit? Why are you afflicting my mind?
