कबन्धमोक्षः—सुग्रीवमैत्र्युपदेशः
Kabandha’s Release and Counsel to Befriend Sugriva
विमाने भास्वरे तिष्ठन्हंसयुक्ते यशस्करे।प्रभया च महातेजा दिशो दश विराजयन्।।।।सोऽन्तरिक्षगतो रामं कबन्धो वाक्यमब्रवीत्।शृणु राघव तत्त्वेन यथा सीतामवाप्स्यसि।।।।
vimāne bhāsvare tiṣṭhan haṃsayukte yaśaskare |
prabhayā ca mahātejā diśo daśa virājayan ||
so ’ntarikṣagato rāmaṃ kabandho vākyam abravīt |
śṛṇu rāghava tattvena yathā sītām avāpsyasi ||
چمکتے، نامور وِمان میں—جو ہنسوں سے جُتا تھا—مہاتیز کبندھ اپنی تابانی سے دسوں سمتوں کو منوّر کیے کھڑا تھا۔ پھر آکاش میں اُٹھ کر اُس نے رام سے کہا: “اے راغھو! سچائی کے ساتھ سنو، میں بتاتا ہوں کہ تم سیتا کو کیسے پھر پاؤ گے۔”
As the flesh of Kabandha's body decomposed, if burnt slowly in the fire although itwas like a huge mass of fat.
Satya as guidance: the verse foregrounds truthful counsel offered at a critical moment, showing that dharma includes giving honest direction to one who is suffering.
Kabandha, freed from his cursed state, ascends in a vimana and begins instructing Rama on the path to recovering Sita.
Kabandha’s commitment to truth (tattvena) and Rama’s receptivity to counsel in adversity.
