The Search for Sita Begins
वित्रासयितुकामा वा लीना स्यात्कानने क्वचित्।जिज्ञासमाना वैदेही त्वां मां च पुरुषर्षभ।।।।तस्याह्यन्वेषणे श्रीमन् क्षिप्रमेव यतावहे।
vitrāsayitukāmā vā līnā syāt kānane kvacit |
jijñāsamānā vaidehī tvāṁ māṁ ca puruṣarṣabha ||3.61.17||
tasyā hy anveṣaṇe śrīman kṣipram eva yatāvahe |
یا ویدیہی کہیں کنان میں چھپی ہو، ہمیں چونکانے کے ارادے سے—تمہیں اور مجھے آزمانے کے لیے، اے مردوں میں برتر! اس لیے، اے شریمان، آؤ ہم فوراً اس کی تلاش میں پوری کوشش کریں۔
