Rama’s Lament and Search for Sita

भृशमाव्रजमानस्य तस्याधो वामलोचनम्।प्रास्फुरच्चास्खलद्रामो वेपथुश्चाप्य जायत।।3.60.1।।

bhṛśam āvrajamānasya tasyādho vāmalocanam |

prāsphurac cāskhalad rāmo vepathuś cāpy ajāyata || 3.60.1 ||

جب رام آگے بڑھ رہے تھے تو ان کی بائیں آنکھ سخت پھڑکنے لگی؛ وہ لڑکھڑا گئے اور بدن میں کپکپی سی پیدا ہوئی—یہ سب آنے والی مصیبت کی نحوست کی علامتیں تھیں۔
