Sita’s Abduction and Ravana’s Entry into Lanka
सम्भ्रमात्परिवृत्तोर्मी रुद्धमीनमहोरगः।।।।वैदेह्यां ह्रियमाणायां बभूव वरुणालयः।
sambhramāt parivṛttormī ruddhamīnamahoragaḥ |
vaidehyāṃ hriyamāṇāyāṃ babhūva varuṇālayaḥ ||
جب ویدیہی کو لے جایا جا رہا تھا تو ورُن کا مسکن سمندر گھبرا اٹھا؛ اس کی لہریں پلٹ گئیں اور بڑی مچھلیوں اور اژدہا نما سانپوں کی جنبش تھم گئی۔
Like an arrow released from the bow, Ravana went through the sky, at once crossing forests, rivers mountains and tanks.

During Sītā’s abduction over the sea, the ocean is described as reacting with unnatural stillness and recoiling waves.
Sītā’s sanctity (pavitratā) is implied—her unjust seizure is so grave that even nature is portrayed as disturbed.
