Rama has killed fourteen thousand demons alone without his brother within a moment. He is a strong warrior and well-versed in the use of all kinds of weapons. You have stolen his loving wife. How can he live without killing you.
Violation of marital and social dharma (abducting another’s wife) invites rightful retribution; dharma protects the innocent through the strength of the righteous.
Sītā warns Rāvaṇa of Rāma’s proven power—his prior destruction of vast rākṣasa forces—and predicts Rāvaṇa’s death for the crime of abduction.
Rāma’s heroism and righteous competence: strength and mastery of arms are portrayed as instruments of justice when aligned with dharma.
