मारीचोपदेशः — Maricha’s Counsel to Ravana
On Rama’s Dharma and the Peril of Abduction
रामो विग्रहवान् धर्मस्साधुस्सत्यपराक्रमः।राजा सर्वस्य लोकस्य देवानां मघवानिव।।।।
rāmo vigrahavān dharmas sādhus satyaparākramaḥ | rājā sarvasya lokasya devānāṃ maghavān iva ||
رام تو خود دھرم کا مجسم ہے—سادھو، شریف—جس کی پرाकرم سچائی پر قائم ہے۔ وہ سب جہانوں کا راجا ہے، جیسے دیوتاؤں میں مگھوان (اندَر)۔
Rama is dharma incarnate. He is pious. His strength is truth. He is king of all the worlds like Indra to the gods.
Dharma and satya are presented as the true source of authority and strength; righteous rule is legitimized by truth-based valor.
Mārīca praises and defines Rāma’s nature to dissuade Rāvaṇa from provoking him.
Satyaparākrama—courage powered by truth—and the ideal of dharmic kingship (rājadharma).
