विष्णुचक्रनिपातैश्च शतशो देवसंयुगे।अन्यैश्शस्त्रप्रहारैश्च महायुद्धेषु ताडितम्।।।।

Transliteration

viṣṇucakranipātaiś ca śataśo devasaṃyuge | anyaiḥ śastraprahāraiś ca mahāyuddheṣu tāḍitam || 3.32.10 ||

Translation

دیوتاؤں کے ساتھ جنگوں میں وہ وِشنو کے چکر کے گرنے سے سینکڑوں بار زخمی ہوا تھا، اور عظیم معرکوں میں دیگر بہت سے ہتھیاروں کی ضربوں سے بھی پِٹا تھا۔
