Viradha’s Challenge and the Clash in Dandaka
तमुवाच विराधस्तु रामं सत्यपराक्रमम्।हन्त वक्ष्यामि ते राजन्निबोध मम राघव।।3.3.5।।
tam uvāca virādhas tu rāmaṃ satyaparākramam | hanta vakṣyāmi te rājan nibodha mama rāghava || 3.3.5 ||
تب ویرادھ نے رام سے کہا—جو سچائی پر قائم شجاعت والے ہیں—“اچھا تو سنو، اے راجن! اے راغھو! میری بات سمجھو؛ میں تمہیں بتاتا ہوں کہ میں کون ہوں۔”
Puffed up with his own great strength, Viradha lifted them and placed them on his shoulders as though they were two children.
