दशमः सर्गः — Rama’s Vow to Protect the Sages of Daṇḍaka
Dharma of Refuge
सदृशं चानुरूपं च कुलस्य तव चात्मनः।सधर्मचारिणी मे त्वं प्राणेभ्योऽपि गरीयसी।।।।
sadṛśaṁ cānurūpaṁ ca kulasya tava cātmanaḥ |
sadharmacāriṇī me tvaṁ prāṇebhyo 'pi garīyasī ||
تمہاری باتیں تمہارے کُلن اور تمہاری اپنی سرشت کے عین مطابق اور ہم آہنگ ہیں۔ تم میرے ساتھ دھرم کے پथ پر چلنے والی ہو، اس لیے تم مجھے اپنی جان سے بھی زیادہ عزیز ہو۔
But permit me, Devi, you have already stated, when a kshatriya holds a bow there will be no cry of distress. (it means you approve of my holding a bow)
