विराटसभायां पाण्डवानां प्रवेशः — Arjuna’s Encomium of Yudhiṣṭhira in Virāṭa’s Court
अथास्य बाणेन विदारितस्य प्रादुर्बभूवासृगजस्रमुष्णम् । स तस्य जाम्बूनदपुड्खचित्रो भित्त्वा ललाटं सुविराजते सम,दुर्योधनके उस बाणसे अर्जुनका ललाट विदीर्ण हो गया और उससे गरम-गरम रक्तकी अविच्छिन्न धारा बहने लगी। जाम्बूनद सुवर्णकी पाँखवाला वह विचित्र बाण पार्थका ललाट छेदकर बड़ी शोभा पा रहा था
athāsya bāṇena vidāritasya prādurbabhūvāsṛg ajasram uṣṇam | sa tasya jāmbūnadapuḍkhacitraḥ bhittvā lalāṭaṁ suvirājate sam ||
دُریودھن کے اُس تیر سے ارجن کی پیشانی چِر گئی اور فوراً گرم خون کی مسلسل دھار پھوٹ نکلی۔ جامبونَد سونے کے پروں سے آراستہ وہ عجیب تیر پارتھ کی پیشانی کو چھید کر وہیں نہایت درخشاں دکھائی دینے لگا۔
