Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

tayor tad abhavad yuddhaṃ tumulaṃ lomaharṣaṇam |

bhīṣmasya saha pārthena balivāsavayor iva ||

Translation

پھر ان دونوں کے درمیان نہایت ہولناک اور رونگٹے کھڑے کر دینے والی جنگ چھڑ گئی۔ پارتھ کے ساتھ بھیشم کا وہ معرکہ بلی اور واسَو (اندَر) کی جنگ کے مانند تھا۔
