Chapter 55
स्रजो<्डर्जुनशरै: शीर्ण शुष्यत्पुष्पं हिरण्मयम् । छत्राणि च पताकाश्न खे दधार सदागति:,अर्जुनके बाणोंसे छिन्न-भिन्न हो हारसे टूटकर बिखरे हुए स्वर्णचम्पाके सूखे फूल, छत्र और पताकाओं आदिको वायु कुछ देरतक आकाशमें ही धारण किये रहती थी (बाणोंके जालपर रुक जानेसे वे जल्दी नीचे नहीं गिरते थे)
srajo 'rjunaśaraiḥ śīrṇāḥ śuṣyatpuṣpaṃ hiraṇmayam | chatrāṇi ca patākāś ca khe dadhāra sadāgatiḥ ||
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—ارجُن کے تیروں سے ہار ٹوٹ پھوٹ گئے؛ اُن کے سنہری پھول مرجھا کر بکھر گئے۔ چھتر اور جھنڈے بھی تیروں کے گھنے جال میں اٹک جانے کے سبب، ہمیشہ رواں ہوا نے کچھ دیر آسمان ہی میں تھامے رکھے؛ وہ فوراً زمین پر نہ گرے۔
