Śamī-vṛkṣe śastra-nidhāna and Entry into Virāṭa’s Capital (शमीवृक्षे शस्त्रनिधानम्)

दक्षिणां दक्षिणाचारो दिशं येनाजयत्‌ प्रभु: । अपज्यमकरोद्‌ वीर: सहदेवस्तदायुधम्‌,शास्त्रानुकूल तथा उदार आचार-विचारवाले शक्तिशाली वीर सहदेवने भी जिसकी सहायतासे दक्षिण दिशाको जीता था, उस धनुषकी डोरी उतार दी

vaiśampāyana uvāca | dakṣiṇāṃ dakṣiṇācāro diśaṃ yenājayat prabhuḥ | apajyam akarod vīraḥ sahadevas tadāyudham |

وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا— نیک سیرت اور درست روش والا بہادر سہدیو نے اُس ہتھیار (کمان) کی ڈور بھی اتار دی جس کے زور سے سردار نے جنوبی سمت کو فتح کیا تھا۔
