Dhaumya’s Counsel on Incognito Conduct in a Royal Household (राजवसतौ आचरण-निति)

अन्यस्मिन्‌ प्रेष्यमाणे तु पुरस्ताद्‌ यः समुत्पतेत्‌ । अहं कि करवाणीति स राजवसतिं वसेत्‌,जब दूसरेको किसी कार्यके लिये भेजा जा रहा हो, उस समय जो स्वयं ही उठकर आगे जाय और पूछे--*मेरे लिये क्या आज्ञा है", वही राजभवनमें निवास कर सकता है

anyasmin preṣyamāṇe tu purastād yaḥ samutpatet | ahaṃ kiṃ karavāṇīti sa rājavasatiṃ vaset ||

جب کسی اور کو کسی کام کے لیے بھیجا جا رہا ہو، تو جو شخص فوراً اٹھ کر سب سے پہلے آگے بڑھے اور پوچھے—“میرے لیے کیا حکم ہے؟”—وہی شاہی محل میں رہنے کے لائق ہے۔
